Recently, the project developed by the Savin family was awarded the Excellence Diploma for its involvement in promoting domestic tourism, at the North-East Regional Gala „România ești TU”, a distinction that highlights its contribution to valorizing cultural heritage and promoting Romanian tourism.

In Bucovina, one of the destinations that answers this search is Casa Poveste Guesthouse Museum, located near Câmpulung Moldovenesc. Surrounded by hills, forests, and traditional households, Casa Poveste offers an experience different from classic hotels, emphasizing heritage, nature, and the natural rhythm of country life.

In a context where more and more traditional constructions are disappearing, restoration projects are becoming essential. In Bucovina, private initiatives bring historic houses back into circulation, keeping the original structure and adapting them to current needs. The focus is on functionality, but also on preserving local identity. The project carried out by Doina and Ciprian Savin (the owners of the pension chain) shows how the heritage can be saved through carefully controlled interventions. Houses from the eighteenth and twentieth centuries were dismantled and rebuilt piece by piece. Traditional materials were used, and the partitioning was preserved, in order to preserve the authenticity of the space. The restoration included the protection of the wood and the use of lime-based plasters, compatible with the original structure.
