Traditional but cozy accommodation. The staff is great and any issue you may have is sorted immediately. The white cat and the dog are so adorable.

We were a group of 6 that had an excellent experience here! It is a beautiful and well maintained property and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the traditional style of the building and the decor was very fun and carefully curated! Breakfast was also excellent!

Our 2 nights stay in casa de poveste was a wonderful feeling to live in traditional wooden houses with great amenities. We had a beautiful terrace that overlooked the mountains where we chilled out at night time with a few drinks. 🍹 The traditional bucovinan houses kept up with traditional styles and took us back in time. Been there recently and have spent a couple of amazing days. The location is in the heart of Bucovina, one of the most beautiful places in Romania where nature and people are still authentic. The Casa Poveste B&B is composed by some wonderful three traditional old houses all preserving the characteristics of the region. The hosts are warm and very welcoming people making you feel at home and being always available to help with whatever you'd need. The food is an entire story in itself. Very tasty, authentically local, abundant and most of all home made. Will be going there as soon as possible and intend to bring along my family and all my friends. Highly recommend it!

We spent a few day at the beginning of June 2014 at Casa Poveste in Bucovina and we completely fell in love with the place. The guesthouse is located close to the touristic sites (the monasteries, Rarau mountain, etc), but away from the buzz of the city and it consists of 3 wonderfully restored traditional old houses. We opted for half-board service, a great choice as the food was absolutely amazing. We felt like at home, surrounded by the family. The owners are very friendly and constantly make sure that everyone is happy and has everything they need. For dinner, the menu is set by the host and it comprises traditional Romanian dishes, but all with a little twist of originality. Our only complaint would be that it's just too much (and I'm Italian!). We had 3-4 types of starters, soup, a main dish and a dessert. Rooms are very clean and cozy and we felt like living in a little museum. We recommend this place if you want to spend a few days in an authentic place, filled with history and traditions, enjoying good food and beautiful nature. And warm friendly hosts!

If you are planning to Visit Romania, you must stay at Casa Poveste. The hotel is surrounded by nature , mountains, its peaceful and relaxing. In addition to the lovely environment, you have access to the spa facilities. (it doesn't get any better that this). The units of the complex are design with traditional antique furniture and architecture, a unique experience which I highly recommend. Above all, great prices, great food, lots to do in the area and an amazing host. The Host caters to all of our needs and enquiries, the staff were friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay, it was a weekend get away but the next time I will definitely visit with my family for at least 2 weeks.

I was lucky enough to spend my birthday here May 2022 and what a memorable experience it was. I could not speak more highly of Casa Poveste. Family owned and operated. Tranquil and peaceful location surrounded by rolling hills and endless meadows. The perfect getaway to unwind and relax. Delicious authentic food prepared fresh daily. Staff were friendly and the rooms were incredible. I highly recommend for birthdays/weddings.

Perfect place to disconnect for a few days and enjoy nature and fresh air. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated with old school furniture which really brings you back in time. The food was exclusively traditional recipes from the area and incredibly tasty, not to forget the pelinas drink which is the best appetiser I've ever had. Highly recommend for both family trips or weekend getaway with friends.
